- Does Battr make its own batter?
- Yes — that is where the name comes from. Battr mixes its waffle and crepe batter in-house at the shop, in small batches, from scratch. There is no pre-made mix and no frozen shells: every bubble waffle and every crepe is cooked to order from batter we made ourselves that day.
- What kind of desserts does Battr offer?
- We offer a fusion of traditional elements from diverse dessert cultures. That includes Hong Kong bubble waffles, handheld crepes, rich Italian gelato, espresso drinks and gelato shakes. The waffle and crepe batter is mixed in-house, from scratch, every day.
- Where is Battr located?
- Battr has two locations in the Cleveland area. Our original shop is at 910 Literary Road in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, OH, and our flagship is at 15000 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood, OH.
- What is a crepe cone, or handheld crepe?
- It's a Japanese-style crepe made with our in-house batter, rolled into a cone and filled with gelato and toppings so you can eat it walking. The Crème Brûlée version is made with house custard and torched sugar on top.
- What separates Battr from other dessert places selling waffles and crepes?
- Our signature in-house batter. We craft it daily and use it to make both our Japanese-style crepe cones and our bubble waffles.
- Do you only serve desserts at Battr?
- No. Alongside the desserts we pull espresso drinks — lattes, cappuccinos, cortados and americanos — and blend gelato shakes.

- Battr has an industrial-style design — a chic, trendy space built for enjoying our desserts. The Lakewood shop is the larger of the two and has ground-floor seating.
