Our story
Handcrafted, daily
Battr is a Cleveland dessert shop built around one thing: a signature batter we craft in-house every day. It's what makes both our Japanese-style crepe cones and our Hong Kong bubble waffles taste like ours and nobody else's.
The name is the recipe. Battr is named for the batter, and we mix ours in-house every single day — no premade mix, no shortcut, no bucket from a supplier. It is the one thing every waffle and every crepe we serve is built on, and it is the reason ours do not taste like anybody else's in Cleveland.
From there we're committed to handcrafted quality, using the finest ingredients to create chef-inspired twists on both classic favorites and bold new flavors. Our menu features freshly made bubble waffles, handheld crepes, creamy gelato and expertly crafted espresso drinks — a dessert experience that's both innovative and indulgent.
We take pride in blending traditional dessert elements from around the world, crafting unique flavor combinations that make every bite unforgettable.
As passionate members of the Cleveland food scene, we love this city's vibrant energy and diverse culinary landscape.
