Bubble Waffles

A bubble waffle is a Hong Kong–style waffle cooked in a griddle of round wells, so it comes out as a sheet of soft, hollow bubbles. At Battr in Cleveland we mix our own batter in-house every day — it is the batter the shop is named for — then griddle each waffle to order, roll it into a cone or serve it flat, and build it with your choice of gelato, two sauces and two toppings. Bubble waffles start at $13.

How much is a bubble waffle at Battr?
A bubble waffle at Battr is $13 and a flat bubble waffle is $15. That price includes your choice of gelato, two sauces and two regular toppings. Additional sauces are $0.75 each, extra regular toppings $1 each, and premium toppings $2 each.
Does Battr make its own batter?
Yes. Battr mixes its waffle and crepe batter in-house at the shop, in small batches, from scratch — no pre-made mix and no frozen shells. That batter is where the name Battr comes from, and it is cooked to order for every single waffle and crepe.

Can you get the signature desserts as a bubble waffle?
Yes. Every Battr signature dessert is available as a bubble waffle except the Creme Brulee, which is served as a crepe cone only. Signature bubble waffles run $13 to $14 and include the S'More, Choco Tremont, Oreo Blast and Cookie Butter Fosters.
