Why does Battr Tremont open at 3 p.m. on weekdays?
Tremont is a dinner neighborhood, so the shop opens in the afternoon Tuesday through Thursday and stays open late on Friday and Saturday, when the restaurants on Professor Avenue and around Lincoln Park are busiest. It's built to be the stop after dinner. For more on the late hours, see our guide to late-night dessert in Cleveland.
What's it like inside Battr Tremont?
The counter sits against exposed brick with menu boards, a curved gelato case and the espresso bar. The dining room has a mural of the Cleveland skyline painted from bubble waffles and gelato scoops, and there's seating upstairs for groups. Visit the Battr Tremont page for directions.
Is Tremont worth the trip for dessert in the fall?
Absolutely. October evenings in Cleveland usually cool into the 40s°F, which makes a warm bubble waffle hit just right. Pair it with a walk around Lincoln Park or a gallery night. Our Cleveland date night guide has more ideas.
